The Bone

Half of the ring has a smooth, polished surface, while the rest exposes a bone-like interior and scratches. It's aptly called The Bone – The Bone.
The ring is half shiny and polished, as silver usually is. On the other half, I have broken up the surface, so that the raw interior is visible – the structure is reminiscent of bones, with scratches and marks left from the work.
Where the ring has been broken, two thin silver rods hold the parts together, like a rail over a break.
The ring belongs to the series Reclaimed: rings shaped by crime and repair, where the imperfect is allowed to take place.
