Cubic zirconia
Cubic zirconia (simulant)
A man-made stone, not a natural mineral, made to look like diamond. Bright, inexpensive and fairly hard, but softer than diamond and moissanite, and it scratches and dulls with time. Not to be confused with zircon, which is a natural stone.
Hardness (Mohs): 8–8.5
